Medical check: Director of Health Dr Lam Ping-yan visits the University of Hong Kong's P3 laboratory in the Faculty of Medicine - one of two laboratories that are qualified to conduct SARS tests in Hong Kong. He noted its tight vigilance and strict adherence to prevention of infection transmission guidelines in specimen collection, storage, laboratory testing, waste disposal, decontamination and other procedures.
